What is Job Work for customers?
A large number of medium and large industries depend on other small companies to complete the production activities. The activity undertaken by small industries to complete the process on raw material/semi-finished goods as desired by principal manufacturer is known as “Job Work”.
We explain here the process of Job Work for Customers and its implications.
Most of the large companies have a dedicated subcontractors, who specialise in a particular components manufacture and supply. Its a win-win for both the companies as it helps them to manage the business and also subcontractor is an extension of their own machine capacity etc.
Important: ACTouch.com helps to manage the materials that are received by the Customers, Track them and send the same back to customers. The materials received by the Customer shouldn’t add with OUR own inventory and it should be tracked separately.
Many ERP’s fail in this segment as they couldn’t hold back the stocks that’s received and they are forced to add them into company stocks, which is wrong. So ACTouch Tech built a feature that helps to keep these stocks separate with Batches and Inward Delivery Challan etc.
